| Verified by Visa is a free service and it takes only a few minutes to register. When you register, you select a Personal Assurance Message (PAM) and a password. Then, when you purchase on-line with a participating Verified by Visa merchant (over 80% of merchants who offer on-line purchases have indicated they will participate), you will be shown the PAM and asked to enter your password. It’s that simple, just like using your PIN at an ATM. |

1. Select the goods or services you want

Can I register with my existing Visa card?
Yes, you can register your existing Credit Union Visa card to be protected by
Verified by Visa. You don’t need to apply for a new card.
What do I do when I’m issued a new card?
If your new card is a renewal card (same number as the old one) you don’t
have to do anything to stay registered. If your name and/or card number change,
you will need to register again. To do this, we will automatically issue you
with a new Member Registration number.
I have more than one card issued on my account. How does Verified
by Visa work for the additional cards?
Verified by Visa will work for all the Visa cards on your account –
simply register and create a password and Personal Assurance Message (PAM) for
each one.
Do I need any special equipment or software?
All you need is an internet connection and Internet Explorer or Netscape
browser software, the high security versions (described as "128
bit"). To find out the security level, click Help on your browser and
select the About option. You may need to disable any
popup stopper programs while using this service.
What if I need help?
If you need help registering your card, you can call us on 131 609.
What do I do if I think someone has my password?
Call us immediately on 131 609 and a new Member registration number will
be issued.
