Functionality & Services

Mobile Banking provides limited services (compared to Internet Banking) which includes:

  • View account details: account number, account description, current balance, available balance, uncleared funds, interest earned (for the current year), interest paid (for the current year), tax withheld (for the current year) and view history;
  • Pay a bill using BPAY® (only if biller details match a previous payment performed via Internet Banking);
  • Transfer Funds – new payees need to be authorised through Internet Banking. In the transaction description it will appear as a ‘Mobile’ payment. and
  • View Automatic Transfers.

Security We always recommend you ensure your phone is using the most current software available.

Never store your personal information (like your Internet Banking password) on your phone, and refrain from using public wireless hotspots.

Mobile Banking overseas

You can access Mobile Banking when overseas, however there are two areas we suggest you consider before you leave home:

  1. Ensure your SMS passcodes can still be received while travelling, or speak to us if you are not planning on using your phone number whilst travelling.
  2. Check with your mobile phone provider to ensure that you have access to global roaming and that the country or area that you are visiting provides a compatible network.

For most other questions you may have Internet Banking standards apply.
