Festive Season - Banking & Paying Bills on Line

When banking and Paying Bills on line you need to know who you are providing your information to and be confident they will treat it securely and appropriately.

Start by making sure your computer is secure.  There are a number of smart practices you can follow to make sure you are communicating, banking and shopping safely on-line:

  • make sure your computer is secure;
  • always type your financial institution's website, rather than use a URL sent to you in an email;
  • be suspicious of unexpected emails from banks or financial institutions;
  • double check URL is correct and not something similar to the legitimate website;
  • always log out after you have completed your banking on line.

After you have forwarded the email to us please ensure that you delete it from your email account.
